Reiki For those who hold space for others

A confidential, non-verbal space for clinicians and carers of all kinds to restore, reflect, and sustain their own wellbeing.

You give a great deal.  This is a space to receive.

Clinicians and carers carry a particular kind of weight.  The work of holding others’ pain, navigating complex presentations, and maintaining therapeutic presence across a full caseload is deeply demanding – in ways that are often invisible, even to those closest to you

Clinical supervision addresses the professional dimension of this.  Reiki addresses something different: the somatic, energetic residue that accumulates in the body when we spend our days in deep empathic contact with others.

This is a space where you don’t need to explain, analyse, or perform.  You simply arrive, rest, and allow the body to do what it already knows how to do.

Compassion fatigue recovery

Reiki supports the nervous system in releasing the accumulated weight of holding others’ pain – without requiring you to process it verbally.

How Reiki Can Help You

Vicarious trauma support

A regular Reiki practice can help create a clearer boundary between the emotional material you hold professionally and your own inner landscape.

Burnout Prevention

By restoring energy flow and activating deep rest, Reiki supports the long-term sustainability of a demanding clinical career.

Somatic self-awareness‍

Many clinicians find that Reiki deepens their capacity to notice and respond to their own body’s signals – a skill that enriches clinical work too.

A space to be cared for

You spend your professional life holding space for others.  Reiki offers a rare and necessary inversion: a space where you are simply held.

Distinct from supervision

Reiki is not clinical supervision and does not replace it.  It offers something different – a non-verbal, non-analytical form of restoration.
